Professional Development Workshop for Teachers and Theatre Practitioners

Join Massive Theatre Company for a hands-on professional development workshop designed for teachers, theatre practitioners who teach, and creatives with a desire to develop their devising practice.

Led by Sam Scott, Massive’s Founder and Artistic Director, this workshop offers an opportunity to explore the company’s unique approach to making devised physical theatre. Learn through doing with processes you can use to make brave, bold, playful performance pieces with your students.

Massive’s Auckland Teachers Workshop Will:

Actively encourage play, movement, curiosity, and exploration
Provide you with a variety of Massive’s warms up, ways to build ensembles and introduce ideas to use within devising
Deepen your creative practice with scaffolded devising processes that build pieces of theatre

Practical, physical activities designed to leave you with tangible ideas you can take straight back to your classroom or creative space.
